Getting from Vancouver to Seattle

Okay, I'm finding that it is much more expensive to do a one-way car rental from Vancouver to Seattle. So I'm likely going to rent and return at the SEA airport.

Now - What is the best way to get from Vancouver to Seattle? Bus? Train? I'll be disembarking form a Princess cruise on June 27. I'm interested in scenery so I presume that a train ride would be prettier if there is one. I'm also interested in the quickest ride, though, and don't want to wait half a day or so if train schedules aren't as regualr as bus schedules.

I see where Princess offers a bus ride for $45 each for my wife and I. Is this the best way to go? Have any of you taken it?

    Any advice is appreciated

We are using quickcoach on June 19th to go into Seattle from Vancouver. From there we will be taking Amtrak home along the coast, a nice way to lengthen the trip!

Quick Shuttle I believe is $41 one way and has various departure times. Amtrak runs one train a day I think. We are using Quick Shuttle at the end of August. Was the best option for us. Good luck in choosing.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

I wound up taking the Princess cpntract bus and found it to be well worth the few extra bucks since they arranged for all my luggage to be off the boast and onto the terminal at SeaTac airport.

Ibeck---How much is Princess charging you? I'm sailing on the Island Princess next June and also have to get from Vancouver back to Seattle for my flight home. I'm trying to get these arrangements taken care. I think we're doing the Princess transfer up in Anchorage to get us to Whittier although I have been looking into the train option.
