Here's the latest update on Grandeur of the Seas and affected sailings from Baltimore, Maryland.

Part of an E-mail i received from From Royal Caribbean

Following the May 27th fire onboard Grandeur of the Seas, and cancellation of the remainder of that May 24th voyage, we have further assessed the damage and determined it is necessary to cancel these subsequent sailings to allow time for repairs:

Royal Caribbean has announced compensation to passengers on cancelled sailings...

    • A full, automatic refund of the cruise fare paid.
    • A Future Cruise Certificate for 25% of the cruise fare paid. (Please note: Due to the very close-in nature of the May 31 sailing, guests on that sail date will receive a Future Cruise Certificate for 50% of paid fare.)
    • For airfare booked through Royal Caribbean International, we will issue a full, automatic refund.
    • For independently booked air, Royal Caribbean will reimburse any change fees up to $200 that may be incurred.
