Thanks to all your good thoughts and prayers I got to come home tonight. My doctor is going to be watching all my labs and if he doesn't like what he sees then I will be admitted but for now I am back home on bed rest.

    Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone! My doctor called tonight with my blood work results and he is starting me on potassium supplements since my level was 2.2 which is really low. I go back next Wednesday to repeat the blood work and I am in bed until then.

Normal potassium levels are 3.5 - 5.0. So, you are really low!! Take care and take the supplements your doctor orders......low potassium affects not only your muscle function, but also your heart (which is the most important muscle in your body)!!!!

Lisa - Yes 2.2 is low - I never go above 3.5 and my lowest was 1.7 which got me in the ICU. My doctor is allowing me to try to correct it with supplements and foods and he will recheck it next week. I go up and down in potassium levels really easily with my condition and it's my one battle to keep it up where it needs to be.

:wave Maw - I am praying for a better time of it but that may not be in the cards with this condition. Looking forward to seeing you on the Escape cruise.

    Meg
