Trying to decide when to schedule my flight. Does anyone know how early they let you board? My cruise departs at 8:00 pm.

After the ship clears. If you are flying in the same day, I would get the earliest flight out, you never know with flight delays.

We arrived at San Juan port about 11am, they opened the doors for embarkation at noon on the nose and we were settled in our cabins by 12:30pm, the only way to go. It made us feel like we had an extra day on the ship!

Historically in FL or SJ, boarding does start around noon. Giving you plenty of time to get aclimated and unpack on board.
Bon Voyage

My exerience matches everyone else. 11 AM to Noon. Just depends on how quickly they clear the ship of returning guests. Inf October we were on by 11:30 AM at FLL on the Century.

I was in Ft Lauderdale this weekend. Customs and debarkation are taking much longer now. Don't plan on boarding before 12:00. People started lining up at 11:00 and had to wait outside in the sun. The terminal used by Celebrity for the Summit is not as nice and large as the one used by the Century.
