Well my BF does not drink. But I may have one or 2 foo foo drinks. We more than likely will not got to the casino and I am going to try to per pay for any shore tours. (I hope) I am hopeing to save up about $500 to $600. My hours at work have been cut back and I am trying to budget and spend as little as possible. I have the cruise and airfare and per cruise hotel night paid allready. Now All I have to do is come up with post cruise night and spending money and shour tours. Our cruise is Dec 5th. Only 76 days away. Can it be done?

Susan and I did a 7 night cruise on Navigator and our ship board account was about $650. That's cocktails, a $90 spa treatment, $99 for the wave runners, some duty-free, dinner at chops and other things. We didn't go to the casino (I live in Vegas so not much excitement there for me). We didn't splurge but we didn't hold back either.

Of course I've gone on a 4 night cruises and spent as little as $200 and as much as $500 so I guess it depends on your own personal spending habits.

Happy Cruising,

Michael

Be safe and figure 100.00pp per day., We are not drinkers. but do go to the Casino on a budget- I take 20 bucks a day to blow in there., . If I win--great-- but 20 bucks is what I can miss. 2 people will need at least 140 $$ worth of tips Because I prepay everything before we go my sign and sail card is less then 300.

Spending Money varies by people / tastes / lifestyles & activities. These are things to consider b/c they are extra:

1. Tips. $10 per day pp for ship's staff; you'll also need money to tip cabbies, stevedores, tour guides etc.

2. Drinks; you said you don't drink but what about soda cards?

3. Excursions -- these can get pretty pricy.

4. Casino& bingo -- only you know how much you can afford to lose.

5. Souveniers -- do you want / need a keepsake? Are you obligated to bring home something for somebody? Will you be buying the photos they take of you?

6. Spa -- will you want a massage?

7. Specialty restaurants -- add $10-$20 pp to your bill

Hope that helps you budget.

Before we cruised we figured on the 10.00 pp per day the excursions we had booked through the ship, i feel since they were booked through the ship there was no need to tip the tour operators as the trips were pricey enough. And we figured 50.00 each indrinks per day to be on the safe side but we are not big drinkers and had brought wine and champagne on board for our balcony cabin.

in total we had spent 700.00 dollars on a 7 day , but 350.00 of that was for a swim with the dolphins excursion so we had only spent about 350.00 in total in drinks and tips and other silly stuff.

BUdget per day and take 140.00 right off the top for tips, we also thought we would drink like crazy since we were on vacation, but we didnt really want to at all , i think we had 2 drinks per day per person, and had done the souvenier cup thing so that they were cheaper. we are also not shoppers so we didnt really spend anything at all on the islands. We knew what we had to spend and took 1,000 with us just in case.. we also live 15 min from Atlantic City, so needless to say we did not venture into the casinos.

We also did not so the soda card thing as I found on my last cruise , as much soda as i drink at home, i think i had maybe 2 cups of soda a day if that.

Hope this helps
