I have been wanting to take an Alaskan cruise for a long time, and hopefully will be taking one next season. I have been searching mostly information on cruise ships, and have narrowed it down to either RCCL SOS or Celebrity INFINITY.
The Infinity calls my attention because of its premium category along with the perks it offers, however the SOS's public lounges seem better suited for Alaska due to all its glass.
We will be traveling with the whole family, and my father isn't much of a cruise fan-the more layed back the better for him. As for the rest of us, we just want to be on a nice ship, good service, food and most imporantly be able to take advantage fo the scenery from the ship.
I would realy appreciate different insights on both of these class of ships for Alaska.
    THANKS,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,
We were on the Radiance of the Seas to Alaska in Aug. Loved the ship and the trip that we booked the Serenade to Alaska in Aug, 04.
