Because I can truly relax on a ship and I sleep very well (I have a sleep disorder)!

What is your favorite cruise memory?

Re: Interview the person below you (Board Game)

I think my favorite cruise memory is the moment I first stepped on the Carnival Triumph.....I was like a little kid in a candy store....in total awe of the magnitude and beauty of the ship.......nothing like the "first" time for anything we do in life.

What is one or two of your favorite ports and why?

My favorite port I think is St Thomas. First Island Paw got brave enough to really go out and explore. Enjoyed the shopping and the sight seeing . Hoping to enjoy some beach time there this next couple of cruises.

What Cruise Line and ship has been the worst you have cruised on?

I loved Barcelona, Spain, and Pisa, Italy. Barcelona is a beautiful city with a huge arena where they have bullfights (not on the day I was there, though) and Pisa had that wonderful leaning tower that was just gorgeous up close with all its architectural detail visible. It rivaled some of the cathedrals in its artistry on the outside.

Did you have any trouble with storms in your cruises?

My favorite port of call so far is Bermuda. What a beautiful clean island with well-mannered Bermudans making your stay very pleasant.

What is your least favorite cruise line?

Re: Interview the person below you (Board Game)

My least favorite cruise line is Royal Caribbean. The first time I sailed with them, they were ok - just lots of confusion about where to meet for shore excursions. The second time I sailed with them was a nightmare. One of the main problems was roaches in the Lido area. But my least favorite cruise was on Windjammer. Just not my style. Give my a big cruise ship anyday!

Who have been some of the most interesting people you've met on a cruise?

Re: Interview the person below you (Board Game)

We went to a show and I sat on a bench seat next to a woman who I immediately struck up a conversation with. I got her whole life story! She was on the cruise with her son and his new wife who is Asian and their son and the DIL's parents. Her son was paying for everyone. I know all their secrets, their problems, why her marriage failed, why his second is failing, how she dislikes this one and that one, the problems with the cultural differences, etc etc.etc. Too much information!

but memorable!

Who was your assigned table mate from hell?

Re: Interview the person below you (Board Game)

My first cruise was in late June 1986 on Carnival out of Miami to Nassau, San Juan and St. Thomas. Graduation gift from my parents. We had chaperones -- but, they didn't even make us do a thing.

What is your favorite excursion?

Re: Interview the person below you (Board Game)

Holland American would be one cruise line I would like to try just once.

I hear it has excellent food and is a rather classy cruise line.

My husband is from Holland so thought it would be interesting to see how a Dutch company treats it's passengers.

If you could advise a shipline on adding a new port stop where would you like them to visit so you could get off and tour?

Seward. We would love to sail to Alaska, but the opportunity has not yet presented itself.

What is the best specialty restaurant you have been to and on which ship?
