Talked with Jan this morning. She sounds rather hoarse but seems in good spirits just trying to figure out who she could get to go with her on Duckie cruise. She is bound and determined to go. Just keeping her in prayers. you can send her e-mail on Woodwind Hospital site. Nasme is Jan Pippenger. She lives with son and DIL so will have someone to ehlp with care when she goes home.

Sure wish I could volenteer to with her - but 1) getting time off from the ER and 2) my October cruise which would impact $$$. Sure hope things can work out but she needs to put her health first. Prayers for a speedy recovery

Here is the Virgin Mary that Jan asked for during my conversation with her today.

    Cheers, Jan!

Sorry I am late with these good wishes I haven't been on the boards the last few days and I just read this news :( Glad to hear everything is going well. Having been through a similar emergency a few years ago myself I can sympathize! It's not the nicest way to lose some weight :D
