Has anyone done the snorkeling tour in Ketchikan? We're going on the May 29 New Pacific Princess out of San Francisco. I see that there is a snorkeling tour in Ketchikan and am curious if it is worth signing up for.

I can't believe snorkeling in Ketchikan and especially in May!!! Even in July when out on the water it was cool enough to have to wear jackets!

But then I know nothing about snorkeling! Can you tell?

I haven't done this myself, but have been to Ketchikan on cruises three times and this excursion is always sold out. People say it is excellent. There is very unusual sea life in the cold water. I have seen the group when we were out fishing. They are wearing wet (?dry) suits. It sounds worth checking into.
