Glad you made it back ok... and in style too! Wow first class on Singapore Airlines is something I can only dream about! Hope you took plenty of pics. I've enjoyed reading your journeys and I do hope you rest up and feel better!
Sorry if I'm not on very much. In addition to the knee, I have cough, no voice, ears plugged from flights, cough, cough, wheeze, cough (you get the picture) and feel like something the cats wouldn't even drag in. Yes, I am going to the doctor this afternoon...and I'm still getting up the nerve to call the ortho surgeon.
Unfortunately, I didn't get photos of the interior of the plane. For aircraft buffs, it was a Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range). Extremely comfortable aircraft (my favorite, even winning out over a 747) - you can't even tell you're rolling along the runway. I'll elaborate later when I'm back to normal.
As for who missed whom the most, judging from the number of non-stop kisses in the car yesterday, I'd say it was even. =love =love
Edited to add: here's a photo of the first class interior on our Singapore Airlines plane...
Welcome home Mary Ann....I know PUcci is in heaven. So sorry you picked up a trip bug and sure hope you kick it quick! OMG I never knew that there was that kind of luxury on a airline...figured that was only available on charters or private jets.
Long-haul (international) carriers tend to have more luxurious seats in business and first class than most domestic carriers, and some offer a premium economy with a bit more legroom than the sardine-can space normally allotted for economy seats. Usually, the fares for first and business classes are astronomical - so, bless those ff miles!
