March 13 - a swell day at sea! Heavy swells began during the night, and are continuing. In his morning report from the Bridge, the Captain cautioned us that there will be movement today, and urged everybody to hold on to railings when walking around the ship. Yes, there’s some rolling and pitching, but it has been quite tolerable. I fell asleep the moment I got in bed last night - I awoke after dawn with lights on, eyeglasses on, reading material still next to me on the bed. I was really out. I worked several hours before emerging from my cocoon this morning. Ate a light breakfast in the Bistro (smoked salmon) and had a double cappuccino. Chatted with a few people whom I knew, then went to my latest machine in the casino. The $5.00 that turned into $20.00 last night is now $70.00 with about an hour of play time. I continue to be happy. :grin There was an American Buffet topside on Lido Deck for lunch. I’m not much into that - I went to the Dining Room, had some chilled cucumber soup with Bay shrimp and a nice, juicy hamburger. Now I’m ready for a nap. I’ll check in again tonight after dinner.
