Majesty Of The Seas ?

Discussion in 'Royal Caribbean International' started by Jimmy and Allie, Sep 10, 2002.

  1. Hi All,
We just booked this cruise which will be our 2nd cruise. Our 1st one was on the Monarch the sister ship to the Majesty. Has anyone been on this 4 day cruise to the Bahamas and Key west ? Any info would be great !!!!!!!
    Thanks, :) :)

I have been on the Majesty twice. The first time was when it was doing the 7 day cruises. The second was a year ago April on a 4 night with my family. You will find it to be like the Monarch. The stop at Coco Cay is one of our favorites. Find a nice hammock by Coconut Willies and relax :thumb a stop we made this time in Nassau was at the Atlantis Hotel to view the digs and see the fish. That was very nice, we took a cab for $4.00 per person each way. It drops you right in front of the hotel and you go to the casino and purchase passes to the digs. The passes are $25.00 for each adult and $19.00 per child. The Majesty is well kept, and clean. The rooms are on the small side, but you already know that from the Monarch. there really is not much diff. between the two ships. You will have a great time.

Coco Cay you can just relax or do lot's of water sports. They have alot to rent on the island. Key West Sloppy Joes is always a good stop for a drink and or lunch. There is shopping shopping and more shopping in Key West. Also snorkeling etc.Nassau like I mentioned there is the Atlantis, but I have read alot of posts about a Marriott that people go to and use the pool ,pool slide etc for free. Maybe someone can give you the info , I know they take the bus for like $1.00 to get there. Sounds like a good deal. The yellow bird party boat is fun if you have never gone. They take you on a double decker boat with a band and rum punch flowing, the rum is included in the price of the trip. You can purchase beer, soda etc. if you want. They take you to a private beach area to swim or snorkle. It is a few couple of hours and it's fun to try at least once. Hope this helps a bit.
