Good morning Kathy---getting ready to go and watch our grandson play football, and then looking forward to the gator game. May do a fishing trip with Jack today also. So, I guess it is a busy day for us. Will chat later! Janet

Busy day ahead for us too. First stop will be to pick up the wine rack and put it together. Also need to make a pot of meatballs and sausage in gravy. Finally the game tonight. I sure hope that not only do the REAL Gators show up, but that they've come up with enough new stuff to fool Dan Mullins!

Hi Janet. It's just been a busy few days around here between getting some stuff done and then having company a couple of evenings. Just not enough hours in the day to do everything. In between everything else, I've been getting some things done now so I can enjoy our visit with my brother and his wife next week. They arrive on the 28th and will be here until 11/3!

Dinner is already smelling so good. Better go give it a stir before it sticks and burns! If nothing else, it's making the time pass quickly before game time!!

Hi All,

Spent the day ironing clothes for our Jewel cruise on Tuesday. UGH!
Tomorrow Lisa and her family are coming to celebrate her birthday (which is Halloween) because she's complaining that we're never home for her birthday.....I think it's time she got over it:shrug:

Good luck to the Gators. Our BC team lost to Notre Dame this afternoon, what a bummer!

Everyone have a great rest of the weekend. Time to start putting the clothes in the suitcases.

I give up. I cannot watch another dismal offensive game by the Gators. Just horrible play. No way are we National Championship material this year.

OMG!!! I can't remember when I drank so much wine during a Gator game! I don't know what happened, but since Tebow's concussion, he's just not playing the same. Coach said they've just been making poor calls for what Tim should do. I don't know who's to blame, but come next week, they better be prepared to play Georgia. By the way ... Pregame party starts at 9:30 next week at our house!!!

Rita - I so was hoping BC was going to beat ND. Everyone, except the Gators:clap:, that I was cheering for today lost - Miami, BC. .. I was even sitting here singing Rocky Top hoping the Vols would beat Alabama!!! That has to be a first in this house!!! Good thing no one else was here to hear that!!!!!

OMG, I CANNOT BELIEVE you were signing Rocky Top. I remember how crazy you would get on the Mariner when those kids would start with it!:hammer:

I thought you would kill them.

Did Bert think you had gone off your rocker:confused:

Gordon, at least they didn't lose like our team did.

Time to go to bed....it's been a long long day.

Morning all.......

had a busy day yesterday........went to FAFO(fine arts festival Ocala).......some really nice things, but we just window shopped.....today we were going to Mt Dora's arts and crafts festival but decided to stay home and work around the house............

Congrats to the Gators.......
Hope your allergies arent bothering you today BB!

Nice day...........windows are open and its feel like a nip in the air!!

Back later!

No, PH, my allergies are not bothering me today. But thank you for asking!:p

I think I figured out what the Gators problem is - the new offensive coordinator who took Dam Mullins place. This guy came from the NFL and his style of coaching is so different from the high powered passing game we're used to seeing the Gators play. I want that kind of game back!!!

Going over to K&G's house to watch the Steelers game this afternoon.

You packed yet Rita? If not, you better get a move on!!

Quiet day around here yesterday. Between beautiful weather and lots of football, I guess no one had time to post.

Lots of fog here this morning. I almost couldn't see the lake!:spyglass: Off to get a much needed haircut later and then a shopping trip to Bealls and Old Time Pottery. That should take care of most of the day. Also need to make a list of what we'll need to feed our company this week.

PH - Have you seen the picture of Addie that Laurie posted on FB. OMG ... It's too funny!

I hope all the worker bees have a good week. Us non-worker bees will be thinking of you!

Breeze Queen Gator

Just talked to Rita, so she's booking it for us. It'll be nice to sail on MN again. I hope someone good is in the piano bar.

Don't you have the Oasis around the same time as MJ?
19. PH8

PH8 Well-Known Member

If we book the MJ, the day we get off, we get on the Oasis.......thats the only reason I picked the MJ in Miami...........looked at the MN,but its about $100 more..

Breeze Queen Gator

Seeing as how we have no reason to head to south Florida that week, we'll just stick with MN on the 13th to spend a couple of days with family.

Went to Old Town Pottery and got lots of goodies. They have so much in the way of knick knacks. Saw a neat sign that I almost got for out on the lanai - Forget the crackers. Polly wants a cocktail!
