One thing that St. Kitts has in abundance are monkeys, in fact there are more monkeys than people on the island. These are the Green Vervet monkeys that the French brought to the island way back when. Most are out in the wild, but some are kept as pets, and some are exploited for photo ops…..

Patti’s Scenic Bus Tour moves on…..

We have docked. I would recommend the Rail & Sail excursion very highly. The only negative is that the Rail portion is a little long, but I took it as an opportunity to enjoy a few extra very strong rum punches!!

Ryan and I are making our way back to the ship…..

We have caught up to Patti…..

We are leaving the beautiful island of St. Kitts…..

Afterwards, Patti and I went to the Red Frog Pub for some drinks and some Pub Grub. We tried the coconut shrimp and the conch fritters and enjoyed them both.

We then went back to the cabin to get ready for tonight’s dinner in the Blush Restaurant. Ryan decided that he would eat at the Lido Marketplace tonight.

For her starters tonight, Patti had the lobster bisque, followed by the tomato and green bean salad…..

I will say that the lighting just outside the Blush Restaurant was very pretty…..

Patti and I made our way to the casino. She decided to play the slots tonight and wound up losing $50. I played blackjack for a couple of hours and dropped $200. Not a very productive night for either of us. Anyway, we made our way back to the cabin around midnight, and found tonight’s turndown and towel animal. We both agreed that we enjoyed our day in St. Kitts. Good Night!

Coming up next: San Juan and Fahrenheit 555.

Day 6 – San Juan 7am to 2pm…..

We woke up at 7am to find that the Carnival Breeze was already docked in San Juan. We got dressed and went out on our “secret” deck to take in the sights. Looking down on the gangway, we could see that some early birds were already leaving the ship…..

Take in the sights of Old San Juan with us, from our vantage point on our “secret” deck…….

Here are our plans for today. Because we are only here until 2pm, Ryan and I decided to just stay on the ship. Patti, after gathering four bags of laundry to send out to be washed, will leave the ship, and walk around Old San Juan and take pictures.

Ryan chose to sleep in, but I made my way up to the Blue Iguana Cantina for a breakfast burrito. Afterwards, I would go check emails, then go visit Theodoro at the Tides Bar and have a “few” Coronas.

Here is Patti as she leaves the ship for her walk around Old San Juan…..
