It's hard typing through tears, but we just got the news from the Vet. Hershel has a very aggressive form of bone cancer. They think that it may head to the chest next if it is not already there. We will take him in for x-rays to see. They give him 3 to six months if it isn't there, and less time if it is. Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. Could you please pray that we have the wisdom to do what he needs and to keep him pain free. Thank you again.

SunFlower and Cody join me in our concern. The more you love, the harder the decision; but, the more it's the right thing to do. God Bless you all.

Hershel will tell you when he can't take anymore. I'm so sorry.

Bev - I am so sorry, I wish it could have been good news. As Charles said, Hershel will let you know when the time comes. You may remember my saying that my Topaz was diagnosed with a very deadly cancer, and I was told she would let me know...and she did.

Please tell Hershel that Pucci sends special tail wags.

My heart goes out to you, I know this is more difficult than words can express. Take it one day at a time, and tune into your sweet baby so you can understand when he needs to let things go.

Everyone is right. They do let you know. Buttons let us know, but we didn't get to the vet in time to end his suffering sooner. I have been waiting for the news on Hershel. May you enjoy the months ahead as best you can. May you have the clue you need from Hershel when to help him out. Prayers to all of you, Sage.
