Please keep my son, Tim in your prayers. As many of you know he is in the Army and is in Iraq. I was just informed by the Army that his vehicle was hit by an IED this afternoon and that he has burns to the right side of his face and arm and is in serious condition. I honestly cannot believe this, he was hit with an IED a little over a month ago and received a mild concussion. Please keep all of us in your prayers!

WHat a true hero!!

Donna God bless Tim as he faces this latest trauma. You stay strong until you hear something from your son. Lets hope that the army sends him home to heal and you can hold him real tight again. I can not imagine the pain in your hearts and the fear that you and your family must be feeling at this time.

Prays will continue until your son is by your side again and is completely healed.

Where could we send him cards???

Hugs, Mariposa

Donna, good thoughts on the way. I am so sorry that this has happened to your family. I hope he heals rapidly with minimal scaring. They do such wonders with burns now. The blessing is that he is alive and that he will recover.

Sending all available :angel:angel:angel that are on call!

Hugs,from one Mom to another!

Donna!! Hugs and prayers from Kansas!! I have been thinking of Tim and you folks alot lately, so seeing this post put me on edge. I, too, hope he gets state-side to recover from this. As difficult as it will be, having him close where you can see and hug him would make it better for all of you.

Do keep us updated, on how he is doing. Prayer, prayers and more prayers for all of you!

Donna, this must be such a scary time for you right now. You need to remain strong and believe he'll be ok and coming home soon. Prayers coming Tim's way. Please do let us know if there is somewhere we can send cards and good wishes his way.

So sorry to hear this. How terrifying for you when you can't rush to his side. I remember my fear last yr when I received the call my son suffered a broken neck in an ATV accident. No reassurance from the dr was good enough for me--I was in a panic state until we made the 300 mile trip & I was able to see him & hug him. Wishing the very best for all of you.

Seems like a guardian angel was with him twice now! He is alive, and many things can be done to help him recover and I am sure with his family being beside him in the near future that he will get the tender loving care needed to heal.Try and keep calm, so you can use that energy in a positive way. Please find peace in knowing he is alive and soon your son will be in loving arms again. Prayers going out for your whole family during this time of stress and concern.
