For anyone interested, I should have funeral details sometime tomorrow.

This evening, I was told:

She lived to read and post on cruise addicts. We are printing the posts and are going to put them on a board along with pictures of her. I'm going through her cruise pictures right now.

Mary Ann

Thank you Maryann, that would be nice

I am so very sorry to hear this.

We will all miss her here -- always loved her pictures she took when she went to the zoo and parks. And her "Where in the world are we".

May Connie rest in piece.

I don't know how, but somehow I must have known. When I signed on to cruise-addicts this morning, I had a horrible feeling wash over me and I was almost afraid to even look at the "Safe Harbor" board. As I had feared, I read the heartbreaking news. Even though we never met, Connie always brought a smile to my face because I could feel the love she had for her animals and her surroundings through her pictures. I always looked forward to her posts with her beautiful snapshots of her beloved cats and her beautiful city. She will be missed more than she could ever know. She is at rest and at peace now and I'm sure she's taking in the majesty of her eternal resting place as we speak. I also have no doubt she will be watching over her beloved Maxie, Scooter and Simon and I hope they know how much she loved them.

My friend.......rest in peace. You were loved here on earth, but it will not compare to the love you will feel in heaven.

I would also like to add my sincere, heartfelt condolences to Connie's son. He should know how much we all loved Connie and I hope he can find some comfort knowing that his mother is now sitting by our Lord, watching over him.

If only there was an internet line between Heaven and Earth. You know darn well that our Connie Cat is snapping away and getting those memorable shots we would all love to see.

I'll miss Connie Cat for so many reasons.

Me, too, Glo. And even tho I know in my heart she is in a better place right now, I just cannot stop crying...she was just taken "too soon and too suddenly" for me to be able to accept it right now. I just hope that when she passed to the other side that the first thing she heard was, Connie, you thought it was beautiful down THERE? Wait until you see where you will be for eternity.

We are so deeply saddened to read of Connies passing and send our condolences to her son and family. Like many others we enjoyed her posts, and photographs so much, as well as her sense of humour.. Thank you Mary Ann for keeping us informed. R.I.P. Connie, you will be missed.

Connie...

You were the Captain of our Jealousea, and took us to all the wonderful places around the world.

You brought us the vibrant colors of your garden, in the floral close-ups...

You kept us laughing at the escapades of the Three Mouse-keteers...

You shared your ride through the park, so that we could see the bison, the deer and all the wildlife captured by your artistic photography...

You kept our brains working with "where in the world?"

You shared your witty sense of humor, made me laugh out loud many times....

You even scolded me once for feeling sorry for myself....

May your star shine brightly....

This one is for you, dear friend...

Mike & I are deeply saddened by this news. Conniecat was a bright light on this board. I remember when Simon popped into her yard and we had to convince her that he was "hers". We will miss her stories and her pictures but we should take some comfort that she is in a better place.

I will add my tears to the river! Connie always awed me with her photography and her love of feline! My heart is heavy with thoughts of her babies but I know she is in a better place and free of pain and suffering!

I've missed you so much since you stopped posting those puzzling google map games and your amazing photographs. So sorry to see you go....and so sad to think of all the lovely people from this board that we've lost.

I stopped in briefly to check in on my friend's here and this news has hit me so hard that I cannot stop crying.

Connie always posted in my book ramble and I sent her some books I had around the house that she said she would enjoy. At that time she wasn't able to get out to get books so I was happy to send some to her from my collection and about a week later I got an envelope full of the most beautiful color photographs and a nice note from Connie. She became very special to me over the years, seeing her pictures posted of her beloved cats and reading her tales of their mischief. I suspected that she was very ill and that this was a possibility but I was not prepared for this and I can only imagine how her son must be feeling.

I send all my thoughts and prayers to Connie's son and all who knew her. The world lost a truly special woman and I hope that she is at peace now.
