Very very sad news.
No family could have fought harder. It's such a same that in medicine, we don't have all the answers.
We have suffered a loss that has all our hearts saddened, and the angels have sent up a joyous greeting. Elliott is whole again.
This is not the news I wanted to hear with tears rolling down my cheeks at least he is at peace. My heart goes out to Dan and Cindy - all 3 fought a wonderful fight. Many prayers continued and hugs from here
Ahhh Cindy, not what I wanted to hear from you. So sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you both.
That is so sad, my heart goes out to the family. May he rest in peace.
There are no words that can erase the pain. Take care
We are deeply saddened to read this. Our hearts goes out to Cindy, Dan and their extended families. My God Bless Elliott and all of those effected by his passing.
"I'll lend you for a little while, a child of mine," He said.
"For you to love while he lives, and mourn when he is dead.
"It may be six or seven years, or fifty two or three.
But, will you 'til I call him back, take care of him for me?
"He will bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solice for your grief.
"I cannot promise he will stay, as all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn.
"I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I've selected you.
"Now you will give him all your love - not think the labor vain.
Nor hate me when I come to call to take him back again.
"I fancied that I heard them say 'Dear Lord, thy will be done'
For all the joy this child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
"We'll shower him with tenderness, and love him while we may.
And for all the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay.
"And should the angels call for him much sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand."
From the time we first heard of Elliott, this is the one message we never wanted to hear.
At least we can know he will suffer no more.
God bless Cindy and Dan and keep them in his hands.
I am so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in that Elliott is now pain free and resting in the arms of our Lord.

Oh Dan & Cindy,
I'am so sorry to read this sad news this morning. I have been following Elliott since he 1st came to cruise @ddicts. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but felt like I had.
He had grown into such a strong young man & put up a good fight. He will be missed.
Prayers & good thoughts continue for your entire family.
This is so sad. Heaven must have needed another "teen angel."
Cindy and Dan, please accept our deepest sympathy. May God ease your pain.
Judi & Michael
My Condolences to Cindy and Dan on the loss of Elliott.
Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep. I did not die.
(I'm not there I did not die)
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I'm not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of guiet birds in the circled flight.
I am the oft stars that shine at night.
Do Not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
I'm so sorry to hear this. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family. Elliot will forever be in our memories.
