I am travelling with 2 girls (8 and 10) to Alaska this July. Have done Disney and NCL before - each was different, but we loved them both.

Which ship will have a better kids program, as I will enjoy anything. Carnival and HAL just didn't seem to be right from the brochures.

    Thanks in advance.

I have done both and like the RCCL ships better. (I don't know about the new Princess ones though) and the Southbound itenerary of the Legend of the seas is better as you get to go the Sitka and the Misty Fjords. However Princess has the permits for college fjord and glacier bay so you get to see those glaciers instead of just the Hubbard on RCCL.

First time I recommend Princess as they do the glaciers. Next time do the legend southbound or the Vision vancouver to Vancouver.

do rccl. princess has gone downhill from what people have told me. Also rccl is better for childrens activities. We are going rccl legend of the seas on june 20th. We are seniors with 3 grandchildren. We have done ncl and princess with them. I like the itineary on rccl legend of the seas best. I am taking the southbound one. starting in seward and ending in vancouver
