Is anyone cruising on the Grand on October 5. I have been through A LOT of the messages and can't find anyone. We are from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and are hosting the world bicycle championships that week so they have closed the schools down. This was a perfect time to take a cruise so the kids don't miss school and we don't have to go during March break or Christmas. I am getting so excited as are the teens and was just wondering if anyone else is coming with us.

We (fellow Canadians, from Vancouver) will be on board. We are leaving our kids at home this time, however. I am changing jobs after 23 years so we thought we would treat ourselves to a trip. We just booked it last week.

Glad to hear someone is coming with us. I was really starting to wonder if it was going to be a ghost ship. What deck are you staying on?

We just got our confirmation. Cabin A202. Fore (cabin closest to the front!). Hope the seas are relatively calm.

ooohhhhh! You got your confirmation! Did you get that in the mail?
Or did you call???? We reserved a very inexpensive cabin but they
said we are very likely to get an upgrade. Can't wait to know!

    See you soon!

Go onto the princess website, click cruise personalizer and log on using your confirmation number. At first (shortly after we booked), it said "Guar" next to cabin number. I have been checking back daily and voila. Today there is a specific cabin number listed.

Glad to hear you have your room Karol. It getting to close now. We are just finishing up with the remnants of hurricane Isabel here. Hopefully, the seas won't be that rough! Have you got your seasick remedies?

We really like the seasickness banks (find they work), but we probably should get some medication just in case. I brought gravol along in the past but never used it. Are there new meds out now?

I've got the Gravol that is just ginger - "all natural" but I was thinking of getting the bands. Where do you find them? Are they stored behind the counter?

They are available in drugstores. Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing them displayed. Best to ask, I suppose.
