This has been asked in the past, but what are the occupations of the CruiseAddict posters and lurkers.

I am an author and courseware designer for a computer software developing corporation. I build and design web based training courses for major companies.

John is self employed in the Hotshot business (he leases out his truck and 40' float (trailer) to pick up loads for businesses and deliver them to other businesses.)

I quit my banker job 11 months ago to stay home and take care of our almost 5 year old son. I guess some people would say I'm a household engineer! LOL

My husband, Cord, is an investment banker for a large bank.

When I was working I was a Corporate Controller now I am just doing contract assignments - it gives me more freedom (and a lot less aggravation!) to travel and attend the school activities of my 13 year old son. My husband is a Project Manager for a large Engineering Design firm and travels a lot!

I'm the book-y type...started out as an overdues clerk at a library..went back to school and became a (primarily) children's illustrator and worked for Scholastic Publishing in Canada and Australia for 8 years. After a short stint as a graphics manager for UofT for the hospital and Ryerson University, I'm a stay at home mom for my 8 year old. I freelance whenever jobs come to me, work as a storyteller and sales staff in the children's department of a large bookstore, and book appointments for a pet photographer to pay a few bills and save for a cruise!!

I am Administrative Assistant to The Respiratory Engineering Department for Invacare Corporation. We make durable medial products. Been here 14 years.

My hubby just retired last year from Ford Motor Company. He now plays golf, bowls, takes care of the house and picks up the grandkids - so I can visit with them when I get home. ha ha

I practice environmental law for a federal agency - marine mammals (I always look for them while cruising), endangered species, clean air, clean water and, of course my favorite, solid waste. I get into some really stinky things in the course of my work! It's never dull. . .
