Time to switch to some iced tea.
Beautiful spot as usual ShipMaven and Pucci. Glad I can sit and enjoy the view and the company of friends for a little while today. Cooper asked on the way in if there is sand so he could continue his dig to China.......silly pup. I will start with an earl grey tea please.
Hello all sorry I am running so late today. Just took morning off and slept in. I am ready foir a tall glass of sweetr tea, chit chat and loving of the fur babies. I am giving so loving to my little white girl Pucci and Mary Ann sent me. Pretty food substitute for the real thing and easier to care for. So glad to see so many of you. Hugs to Mary Ann and scritches to Pucci and his little friends.
Good morning, our 4-footed and 2-footed friends. Mommy is tied up with work (work?) so she asked me to step in for a few minutes and greet everyone. And she reminded me to be sure to greet all the humans first!
We're glad you like today's venue - do continue to enjoy yourselves.
Tail wags and warm greetings to (and thank you to Charles and Horhei for being 'on duty' early):
Christoffer - hello again.
Charles and Horhei - good morning
Marie and ZsaZsa
Audrey and Blue
Bev and Chloe, Harley & Lily
Glo and Kiefer
Evie and Baby, Confetti and Sweetie
Beryl and Skye & Sergeant
Denise and Georgie & Louie
BSea - hello/goodbye?
Mommy will be along in awhile, but in the meantime, I'll help Charles and Horhei!
Radiance - welcome. Please tell Cooper that there IS a beach, and it's beyond view between the pool and the ocean. But first, I'll take him to Maw (who just arrived) and Charles for scritches, then give him his bowl of water and treats. I'm bringing you your Earl Grey tea. Enjoy.
Maw - it's always a delight to see you. All the furbabies are coming to see you, and they all promised to be gentle while getting your scritches. I've scurried over to bring you your sweet iced tea. Mommy and I would like you to sit back, relax, elevate your leg if you're supposed to do that, and enjoy all your 2-footed and 4-footed friends.
Harley would love help digging to China, so please send Cooper to him. He already has a huge hole started. The more paws the better.
Charles, you have a grey cockatiel sitting on your shoulder asking about sunflower seeds! His name today is Pretty Bird Joey, and I think he sees his Mary Ann walking this way, so don't be surprised if he flies. Bandit and Cocoa have headed for the water bowls, which means they will be looking for you and Maw next. Bandit has promised to leave Erik alone if he wishes to stretch out on a pool lounger - no more walking on him. Leon is ready for a Rum Punch and some goodies, and I believe I'll try a Blood Orange Mojito.
This looks awesome! A perfect venue for spending the Sunday, especially when it is as cold as it is here today (it was below 60F at 7PM). Thank you, Mary Ann!
I'm sitting in that great jacuzzi, but I think it's time for a drink.
It's sunday so time for a Silja Special, please!
Molle is here today too and is eager to meet his furry friends and of course Maw and Charles.
Bev and Radiance - I'm beginning to think that anytime we hear about sink holes, Harley and Cooper may have been hard at work! If Cruise @ddicts suddenly had new members from China, we'll know they succeeded!!
Jacquie - it didn't take long for Pretty Bird Joey (name noted) to land on my shoulder...but he insisted that I retrieve Charles' goodies for him in addition to mine (he must have attended the Pucci School of Mooching!). So I added a Macadamia nut to the mix today. Of course, Joey wanted his pat-pats on his head and his scritches behind the ears. Bandit and Cocoa know the routine - visits to Maw and Charles for scritches, and catching up with Pucci for their bowls of water and treats, then mingling with the other furbabies. Here's a tall Rum Punch for Leon and a Blood Orange Mojito for you. I'll wait until later in my day for "something" - right now, I'm enjoying my double cappuccino. How about our Chocolate Banana later?
Erik - it's always a pleasure to see you. Pucci ran to Molle - they visited with Charles and Maw, Pucci served Molle his bowl of water and treats...and they are off playing with all the furbabies. Enjoy the warm Jacuzzi - there are two Silja Specials waiting for you. And, needless to say, there are more should those drinks only find their way down one leg! Enjoy.
We have a buffet table with a wonderful array of foods if any of you are hungry!
A buffet table with snacks will be well with my Grey Goose.
Pretty Bird Joey, I have a cashew hidden away for you. (Horhei took the seeds and hid them. He's playing.)
There are 2 pitchers of rum punch. And i'm manning the bar if anyone wants something else. (Manning? Peopling? Staffing?)
Hello everyone. Susan, Ginny and Tanner have awakened from their afternoon nap and have decided to join me for open house.
This is a lovely spot to cool off today so we'll have our ususal please Mary Ann. :beach:
How about "Charles-ing" - coining a new word!
Yonnie - did you get your double Grey Goose on the Rocks?
Michael - Pucci inquired how Tanner is adapting to his new home (and step-sister)? Pucci, of course, greeted Ginny and Tanner, escorted them to Charles and Maw, and brought them their bowls of water and treats. They're romping with the other furbabies now. Here's a tall Rum Punch and for Susan, a chilled Riesling. Sit back and enjoy!
Thank you, Mary Ann!
Even if the first two Silja Specials went down both legs I would not mind two more...
Erik - it just so happens that there are two more Silja Specials for you. They seem to be multiplying as quickly as rabbits! And since you are on holiday now, I probably can find two more should you be thirsty enough!
Tanner is getting along just fine. He and Ginny play together very nicely. They both love the squeeky toys. Tanner loves the splash pool but Ginny's not so much in to water. Ginny will sometimes come over and steal Tanner's rawhide bone. He is such a sweet boy he doesn't complain but Susan is trying to teach Ginny better manners. They romp and play until their energy is gone and then curl up on the floor for a nap.
The puppers have adjusted wonderfully.....Susan is the one who is exhausted
Thanks for asking Pucci and Mary Ann.
Michael - that's great news. Do "we" think Tanner has found his forever home, or do "we" have to wait before making such a decision?
I'm not sure what it means, but Harley has just showed up with chopsticks. I think that it is late enough in the afternoon for me to have a pina colada please.
