That Erik! He splashes everyone sitting alongside the pool and then takes off to bed early! Thank goodness it is warm enough to dry us off quickly. Do get to more of those drinks ready for him for the next day...I'm sure he'll need them for his joints after all that chopping!
Beryl...wonderful to play Scrabble with you. A challenging game I'm sure.
This has been a lovely day. Thanks for this fun and noisier than usual but exciting spot. Monte Carlo for a night cap before I retire? Thanks.
Good evening! We are late today, but it does appear to be another stunning locale! We have had a rather relaxing day after doing our weekly food shopping. How about a flute or two of Asti? Timber brought some Alaskan Thunderstruck catnip to share. He is off to find a lap. . . . .
We finally made it! No earthquakes so far today, thank heavens!!! Bird Baby Joey just landed on your shoulder and is jabbering about how frightened he was last night. Bandit and Cocoa have already forgotten about it and have headed off to look for their furry buddies and some cold water. Leon is ready for a Rum Punch, and I have a very full tray of Chocolate Bananas to share with you, Mary Ann. There are plenty to share if anyone else would like one.
Erik - thank you for joining us. Don't forget to take poor Molle! Sleep well and have a good week.
Yonnie - sleep well!
Susan - thank you for joining us. Please enjoy your Monte Carlo.
Tobyn - always a pleasure to welcome you, Bread and Timber. Pucci has gone to Timber, given him his bowl of water and thanks him for bringing the Alaskan Thunderstruck catnip - although I believe all the kitties have left already. Can Timber keep the catnip until next week? I've pulled out a chilled bottle of Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante and two flutes. Enjoy as much as you wish!
Jacquie - we're happy that Bandit and Cocoa have forgotten about yesterday. Pucci ran to greet them, gave them their bowls of water and treats and they've joined the other furbabies. I think they've all gone in search of laps! Bird Baby Joey (name noted) is on my shoulder and I'm getting an earful about how scared he was yesterday with the earthquakes. He's picking out his special birdie trail mix of popcorn, sunflower seeds and chopped macadamia nuts. He's enjoying his pat-pats on his head and scritches behind his ears. I've poured a "Charles Special" Rum Punch for Leon and thank you for grabbing a tray full of Chocolate Bananas for us...and anybody else who would like to indulge.
Pucci and I thank you for joining us today. We spent the day in Scottsdale, AZ! :sunny: As a matter of fact, I learned a few days ago that some good friends of mine from Canada are spending a few days in Scottsdale later this month - not sure if they know it, but this is on the grounds of the hotel where they are staying.
I don't know if we'll have any latecomers this evening, but just in case, the bar remains open.
We wish everyone a safe and pleasant week, and look forward to welcoming you next weekend when we see where our travels take us.
I asked my friend, who was in Scottsdale, AZ a couple of months ago, but he didn't recongnize this place. I told him that he must have choosed the wrong place to stay in when he was there!
