    Norwegian LEO
January22: Star Cruises SUPERSTAR LEO will be transferred to Norwegian Cruise Line to commence Alaska sailings from Seattle in May. In response to the fleet "deficit" created by the delayed delivery of PRIDE OF AMERICA (following last week's mishap at Bremerhaven), the LEO will spend two months in Australia and one month in Hong Kong before joining the NCL fleet. Another medium-sized NCL vessel will be switched to Star Cruises Asian service at some point in the near future. This follows Star's sale of the SUPERSTAR CAPRICORN (ex ROYAL VIKING SKY, etc.) earlier this month.

Does anyone know much about the Leo? I've read all the information I could find.

We will be on the July 24th trip from Seattle through the Inside Passage.

    Thanks!

Hello, I saw that you have taken the Leo to Alaska. I am sailing on this same cruise on July 24th. Would love to hear your impressions of the ship and any tips you can offer! What restaurants did you like on ship? What excursions did you take? How was the weather? How was the entertainment? How about the boarding and disembarkation procedures? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Here's a posting of the daily paper off of the Spirit, has all 7 days. The person that posted these also had allot of good info about the ship, and things that they did, but I can't find it now. I'll keep looking.

Counting down the days: 33 to go.

The superstar Leo in now know as NCL Spirit. We just returned this past Saturday. Nothing but good to say about the Ship and the Crew. Had an absolutely fantastic time. The scenery is incredible. The journey thru the Tracey Arm (right after you leave Juneo) will take your breath away. Take lots of pictures because no words can describe it. Hope you have a balcony, if not, it is definately worth the upgrade. Have a great trip.
