Has any of you done a tour or self tour from Tortols to Jost Van Dyke?
Thanks for any info.
It took a little digging but here's what I found.
We're planning on doing a Southern Caribbean cruise in the fall so let me know how you like Jost Van Dyke
Excursions also offered by Royal Caribbean and NCL.
I will let ypu know. I found a private tour on a catamaran to JVD from Tortola.
Try Tortola Charters for Jost Van Dyke Tours - Virgin Gorda Baths Tours - Private Charters or New Horizon Ferry Service - M/V Paradise Express to go to Jost Van Dyke for the day from Tortola.
never done that but the Virgin Gorda (spelling) was great
Did a ship sponsored tour to Jost and White Bay last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. ON our tour was a gent who spent 3 years there on archeology digs. He gave US a thorough scoop of the area and the places to see. Problem with the ferry is it is located all the way on the other side of Tortola which is about a 45 min ride according to him. If U have the time then that is fine but MOST cruise ship paxs do NOT. So therefore I would HIGHLY recommend one of the ship tours if they do it. U will thoroughly enjoy it and NEVER want to come back ... especially after a few Pain Killers.
This sounds like a great tour
