Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

She is now in custody of the Toledo Police, but safe.  She and 2 other runaways rode a Greyhound bus up here.  We're waiting to hear what's next. She had a hearing this am.

Too bad there isn't one of those boot camps around like Montel used for problem kids.

Glad to hear that she is safe.

There are boot camps & programs out there, you just have to look. Can't say how good they are. Maybe family therapy might help

Just read your first post....you have had a scary time and I'm glad that granddaughter has been found safe. I hope she and her family are able to get the help they need to get back on track! I'll say a prayer for her!

I'm just catching up over here tonight. Glad they found your granddaughter. I do hope that she gains some wisdom from this and takes a turn for the best. It is so hard raising children today.

So glad to see they found her..prayers from me it all works out.. as Regina said there is all kinds of help..:( just hope she's open to going for it.. and through the years I've learned in counseling as a nurse in Rehab programs..parents beat themselves up WAY to much.. kids make choices, and care little for the consequences till they are way; way older..and sometimes still NEVER get it..
so hugs to those parents..they can give their heart and soul, have it stomped all over on, and still have tough times..I pray theirs is a whole lot easier..hugs Joanne

I'm so relieved that she is safe. That's the most important thing. Now the healing can begin. It is going to take a lot of work, and being pg will make it tougher on mom, but it does have to be a family effort. As Joanne said, sometimes it doesn't happen until the child becomes an adult and realization dawns. Prayers it doesn't take that long.
