Vancouver advice needed

Aloha, Just booked a cruise, first in a very long time and need help with making arrangements. Going on HAL Zuiderdam 9/11 with a round trip out of Vancouver. Am making our own flight arrangements and need to know if it is realistic to think we can navigate our way out of Canada Place and to the airport for an 11: 50 am flight home to Maui ? Is this too ambitious ?
Any advice would be much appreciated ! Mahalo

Aloha - welcome to Cruise @ddicts.

You should be able to make an 11:50am flight out of Vancouver without any problem. Your disembarkation will be coordinated with your flight schedule. I returned about 10 days ago from an Alaska cruise aboard HAL Volendam. Disembarkation is very smooth. Enjoy your cruise.

Welcome to Cruise @ddicts.

You should not have a problem -- just use a cab -- don't book HAL's transporation -- you have to wait until the bus is completely filled with everyone assigned to it -- which could take a while.

Word of caution. When giving advice for flights out of Vancouver and arriving on a cruise ship (we who live here) generally allow for those leaving after NOON.
Now I'm not going to say 10 minutes is going to make me say no BUT......

Taking into consideration:
Ship arrival ON Time.
Ship cleared ON TIME
Being in the First Group OFF
Baggage located ON TIME (or carried off)
Transportation available and leaves ON TIME
Traffic on a Wednesday OK ?
Security at Airport not crowded.

you should be able to make it .
Re: Vancouver advice needed/wine shops

Thanks for the advice everyone. Booked a 1:25 pm flight just in case as it looks like there are a few other ships in port that day.
So , another question. We arrive in Vancouver the day before on a train from Seattle. We would like to purchase some wine to bring on board with us for cabin use. (We understand that HAL is okay with this ). Will be staying downtown at the Sheraton Wall Center. Does anyone have recommendations on wine shops ? Understand that wines can be pricey in Canada
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer
You may or may not care to know, but the cruise terminal is only 2 blocks from the train that goes to the airport. With luggage, some folks may not care to try it, but I can report a very speedy trip when we did it. There is only a short walk on either end, and the trains run frequently. There are two lines using this track, so make sure you get on the airport train.

The Canada Line is for sure a great way to & from get to the airport. But I think with more than one roller it would be a bit of a struggle for most "Mature" folks.

I added a Yellow pointer to the map and that is the entrance to the Canada Line Just across the street from the Liquor store so it's really not all that far.

The Other decals are placed by google and really are a bit miss leading.
