Is there anything to do when it rains? special activities? what do you suggest?
My last NCL cruise it rained one day. They did have some additional functions they offered. I remember they had a gathering in one of the lounges and served some free beverages and food. They played some games and stuff. It was actually kind of fun
We have been lucky on NCL and never had the rain problem. I am glad to hear they did have something for you to do. This was not the case on RCL or Celebrity. We had one RCL cruie where it poured down one day. They did offer a movie that afternoon and free Bloody Mary's in the casino for about an hour I believe. One other day, same cruise it rained but not so hard you couldn't get off the ship as we had docked. All shore excursions were cancelled but there were no special activities. It was a bit of a long day. The same thing happened on our last cruise on Celebrity. The shore excursions were cancelled it rained mildly to poured down all day. As we had already docked in Antigua (actually it did clear up a bit by mid afternoon) the casino was closed and there were no special activities. Thank God for a good book and family members to hang out with!
We had rain a couple of days (Alaska) and all they could think of was additional art auctions. Blech! Those days I relaxed indoors and ate ......ALOT! Oh and drank too.
Just what we all need, additional Art Auctions! Don't get me wrong, they are fun to attend and we have actually purchased a couple of times, but additional ones: I Don't Think So!
