2 years ago I went with my hubby and kids on an 11 night cruise on Empress over Christmas. It was a fabulous cruise. The absolute best moment was on Christmas Eve sailing away from St. Lucia at sunset, standing at the back of the ship looking at the island and listening to Silent Night and Holy Night playing quitely on the sound system. It was just about the most perfect moment ever. I have those versions of those songs on my iPod, listening to them takes me right back to that moment.

    Happy Holidays.

When we finally got to take a Hawaiian cruise on the Infinity in Sept. 2003, we arrived at Nawiliwili, Kauai and my oldest friend in the world (since first grade and we are both pushing 66) was waiting on the dock with armloads of leis. We saw her down there alone from way up on deck 9. She drove us all over the island and to her home and to the Princeville Resort for lunch. I even got to play with the Oscar she won back in the eighties for Best Song of the Year. What a great day!

One of the happiest moments was when we took our kids on their first cruise(feb.04) on the Radiance of the Seas. The look of amazement on their faces when we got to the terminal to board the ship....we told them how large the ship was, but until they saw it first hand, they couldnt picture it in their minds....they were blown away. We're booked on the Jewel for Thanksgiving wk. '07, can't wait to get aboard and see their faces again.

Our Baltic cruise on the JOS was one of the best cruises we have taken.

Why? It was the people we met and had a blast with. My husband and I travel alone and usually meet great people who love to cruise like we do. We always have the world in common - great minds think alike. Cruise addicts are cruise addicts - what could be better

Bon Voyage to Everyone - hope to meet you on a future cruise on RCL. :wave
