Just wondering, if the cruise document packet will be mailed directly to me, or will I have to pick them up at the TA? Thanks for the help!

I'm sailing on the Grand 9/28/03 and just got my docs yesterday.

Did you get them in the mail? We're sailing on the Grand on Oct. 19th, and was told I should receive them about 60 days before the departure date. If you just got yours, I guess I'm still a bit early. Thanks for the post.. :)

If you booked through a TA, they are generally sent there.

Never have I received docs 60 days out. If you didn't book air through the cruiseline, you will likely receive your docs 4 to 6 weeks out. If you booked air with the cruiseline, expect your docs2 to 3 weeks out. Your TA will receive your docs from the cruiseline and then forward them to you.

On Princess there are two sets of documents. The first you generally receive about 2 weeks after final payment. That includes your "Know Before You Go" booklet, shore excursions, immigration forms and other general information. If you've filled out the information on the Princess Personalizer for immigration, you don't need to do anything with those forms. Then, 2-4 weeks before you sail your actual cruise documents will arrive. These are your actual tickets.

Unless your TA has indicated to Princess otherwise, your documents will come through the TA.

Thank you so much for the information BurBunny... The "know before you go" packet was what I was wondering about. I knew the actual tickets would go directly to the TA, closer to the actual sail date. Just am excited to have more stuff to read!! :) Thanks again you guys for the posts!
