cabin 7088 on the Brilliance is on deck 7, port side just ahead of the "bump" in category E3 verandah cabin., according to my RCI brochure in my hand now. I was on the Radiance in May of this year in a similar cabin 1 deck higher (E2) and thought it was a fine cabin. You are just forward of the centrum with its elevators and stairs and also for orientation. You may have read about the 10 foot or so wide roof over the lifeboats on deck 6 and just below your verandeh, so this prevents you from looking directly down to the water but you can see about 10degrees out and we found this to be no problem. You will be able to see everything out on the sea with ease (and pleasure). The waterline is visible from the promenade deck below, or the open decks 11 and 12, and that is where the fun sail away parties are held. You should enjoy cabin 7088, and the way we loved the Radiance you should love the Brilliance.

Was on the Brilliance for the Aug. 3-15 Scandanavian-Russia cruise. We were in Cabin 7078, just a short jaunt from your cabin.
We loved it. It is amazing how much can be put in 179 square feet. True, the liveboat roof is just off the balcony, but we found no problem with that. There is plenty of storage space and although the bathroom is a little on the small size it was extrenly functional. I especially liked the way the right corner mirrow opened to reveal space for cosmetics, etc.
You will be halfway between the Centrum elevators and elevators forward. Again, we found it to be an excellent spot. There is absolutely no noise from either end. And, with Casino Royale was directly below us and we nevver heard anything (alhtough the jingle of coins spitting out a jackpot would have been nice when we were playing.)
On a broader note, the ship is gorgeous, the food is out of this world and the service is a combination of both. There is not one thing that either my wife or I could complain about.
Hope you have a fantastic cruise. We are seriously considering the Brilliance for next summer on a 12-day Med cruise. If we do go, I will ask for the same cabin and the same seating where we had
the best waiter. His name was Catalin, he's from Romania and our table of 436. If you are fortunate enough to have him let him know we said Hi.
