Sailing on HAL and would like to do a combo. Specifically, the bus for the first half with some photo stops and the train back as I understand the morning mist should hopefully burn off by then. HAL doesn't offer this, I've heard that this excursion is unique to Princess. Does anyone know of any other vendors offering this trip or does anyone know if it's possible to sail HAL and book the excursion with Princess?

We're doing a trip that takes the train up - you disembark and kayak at the top - and then board a van for the way down. I've booked it through Princess, but the website describing it is: www.kayakskagway.com

    hi mellisa

i just got done looking up the same thing on the net. all i did was put in skagway tours and it linked me to alot of choices for this trip. just keep going to each link and you will find one that suites your time and day. dont forget you have to be back on the ship 1/2 hr before the ship leaves the dock.

Thanks to all that replied.Murray thanks for that post especially. I looked at that website once previously but must have not paid close attention because I thought they were only offering the train first and bus back. Now that I know you have the option of doing either I think I will book through them. And FYI to all, I called Princess and told them I was sailing HAL but would like to do their excursion bus/RR combo and they said they would let us do their excursion for $169/adult and they would pick us up at the pier (I think they might have lunch included too for that price)!!! I was pretty surprised they'd do that but glad to know it's an option.
