I think it was Freeport anyway. Seems like the Dawn has been there for quite awhile. Is she in drydock there like the Grand in Galveston? Anyone know? :? :?

Lady Jag, I looked at the Dawn's Bridge Cam a few mins ago. Drydock in Freeport. My quess is the Dawn is getting a total refurb. :? I could be wrong though.

Also checked the Grand Web Cam, Enroute to Galveston

Can't find out why it is in drydock but it is not set to sail again until 11/23.

The ship is getting a new engine to replace one that hasn't been working since April and refurbished inside.

Ah! It's been there for a couple weeks I think. I was surprised the work was being done in the Bahamas and not the US. Must be cheaper to have it done there?

Or, it is the only shipyard that had a space for 18 plus days that could cut a hole in the hull to replace the engine.
