Will Carnival keep building bigger ships?

Or will they build a 50,000 ton one similar to the holiday in the coming years? Wouldn't it be nice to see them keep ships small instead of making them more and more enourmous ?

There seems to be a contest between Carnival and RCCI about who can build the largest ship. Right now Carnival has the edge with the Queen Mary II, but RCCI has a mega ship under construction that is even larger. Where will it end? Who knows? Personally, I prefer the mid size ships in the 50,000 to 80,000 ton range.

me too cruzman . 50,000 is perfect but of course major cruise lines are thinking from a $$ perspective , the more people they can get on one of those things , the more they'll make. I wonder what the downfall is in them building bigger and bigger ships...
