    Hi All,

I'm cruising on the Mariner, departing 10/24, right during the world series. Is there somewhere to watch the games on board?

n the sports bar. Since the world series is a national showing the ship should be able to get it on their tvs. Its the local games that have a hard time coming up.

The sports bar is very small. And the bartender has no control over what game is being played on the monitors. We were disappointed that we couldn't watch any of the football games we were hoping to see when we cruised in September. Hopefully they will have sense enough to show the World Series game in the Sports Bar, but don't be surprised if you get some lame excuse from the bartender!

We were much happier with the Sports Bar on the Adventure - it was on the Promenade, and much bigger than the one on the 12th deck of the Mariner!

It should be broadcasted on the TV in your stateroom. The TV size depends on the category of your stateroom.

We sailed last Oct durng the playoffs and my husband is a Boston fan. He was very happy to find that they were showing the games on the ship''s tv programming in the rooms.
