<HTML>I have posted my Zenith Bermuda review on our review site. <http://www.cruise-addicts.com/reviews/readreview.php?id=0000000550>

We had a great time. The spirit of CA was on us. I think I am just now getting over it. LOL Please take my review with a grain of salt and I apoligize for those I offend in New York.

I should have the Zenith Daily's done in a week. I will let you know when they are available. I will also be posting pictures, but that is hard with 400 to choose from. Again, I will let you know on that.

Let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer them. This will be a great RSMC next year. It is a lot of fun for the most part.

<HTML>John, what an outstanding review! I appreciated your putting the caveats ahead of the actual review, so we could understand your perspective. Very well done, Stargazer. Glad you and Pam had a good time, especially under the circumstances of your original cruise being cancelled. I'll take your advice and take earplugs...and maybe stay out of the city. Thanks.</HTML>

<HTML>John, thank you for the wonderful review! Guess we will have to invest in ear plugs for this trip. I notice that you are sailing on the Grand in October of this year. What week in october are you sailing? We will be on the Grand the week of October the 7th., we are going in a day early and staying at the Comfort Inn by the airport. If you are going the same week as us would love to meet for a drink or a bottle of wine.

    Happy Cruising,

    <HTML>Kathy R,

We will be on the Grand the week of October 21st. That is fall break in Lebanon. Sorry. Leave a bottle of wine stashed somewhere and we will toast you. LOL

<HTML>John, I will try to leave the ship in one piece for your arrival. Will update you once we have cruise to let you know about the hiding place for the wine. We will be sure to toast you while on board.

    Happy Cruising,

<HTML>Gr8 review John. Thanks for all the insights and warnings. Your info is very precise and should provide some added info for all those @ddicts still pondering whether to join in on the CA Board cruise next May. Thanx again for the reveiew.

<HTML>Glad you like my "old" favorite the Zenith. 4 weeks on her and I have yet to even consider ear plugs. Guess those rooms in the 6000's need to be avoided. We usually are mid 5000's. Great review. thks.</HTML>

<HTML>Hi John, this might be a funny question.. but, how the heck did you get the bold type in the database review. Just a tag? I had no idea that might work if it was. Email me or reply if you can... neato.

  10. <HTML>Excellent review. We are going on September 8th!! I can't wait.</HTML>

<HTML>John, looks like you figured it out. It is just the simple HTML bold tag b ending with the /b tag with <> around them.

<HTML>Great review... (predictable retorts to follow though you warned you might offend us...)

though I could definitely have done without the New York-bashing. Perhaps if you'd asked, some of us could have recommended some ideas to help you enjoy your stay more, as you are obviously not a Manhattan person! I hope that others will not be deterred, as there are so many of us who do love it and all it has to offer. I for one wouldn't move out of my big, "smelly" city for a million dollars. If you don't like the big city, everyone, please, let us recommend things like the charming Victorian Bed & Breakfast on Prospect Park in Brooklyn! I certainly understand that Manhattan is not for everyone.

I'm so glad that you had a nice trip overall, Stargazer, after your harrowing Celebrity experiences! Welcome back!</HTML>

<HTML>Boy - you weren't kidding about the New York City bashing. Just a few comments. You don't stay in the financial district if you want an area that is lively at night! The Times Square and Broadway areas can be very congested, particularly as the weekend matinees are letting out. But it can be worth it if you see one of the great shows on (or Off) Broadway. Like anywhere, there are good and bad restaurants in New York City. As a previous poster said, we New Yorkers would have been happy to recommend some of our favorites, to save you from mediocre food. By the way, Bermuda is definitely one of my favorite places. I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise.</HTML>

<HTML>I live in a small coastal town about an hour north of NYC...personally, I love the contrast. I love taking the train to Grand Central Station, and spending the day in the city. I love the theater district, and the market on South Street.

It's not for everyone, but I'm glad NYC is so accessible to me. It is very true that you have to know where to go, some areas are definitely better than others.

    Just my opinion. :)</HTML>

<HTML>Bes22, I would have gladly asked for restaurants if I would have had more than one days notice that I was going to be there instead of Vancouver. The same goes with were we stayed and the one day notice.

If I deter anyone from going to New York, it will be those that won't like it. Those that already have doubts. Those that like the big city will go no matter what I say or you say for that matter. Everyone on this board is adults (for the most part) and should make up their own minds about going. Just be forewarned, if you don't like Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, LA, San Francisco because they are big and congested, you will absolutely hate New York. If you like these cities, you will probably like New York. Those that met me on the RSMC know that I am not vindictive. I just try and point out the good and the bad in everything and let you make your own decision.

    You are funny.
