I posted this on the HAL board, but thought I would give it a shot here as well.

HAL lists the ship as being in Tortola at 7 am.

Anyone who has been on this cruise - What time can you disembark?

I contacted HAL about this and they were most unhelpful.

Debarcation is at the Captain's discretion (i.e., he decides when to open the gangplank/cast off the tenders, etc.). That's why the folks at HAL Customer Service were 'unhelpful'. They simpley just don't know. All that having been cleared up, you can usually expect debarcation to begin within 60-90 minutes of 'official arrival time'.

Will give you our times when we return.

The folks at HAL were actually unhelpful about several other matters, such as which dive and tour operators they use. Have never had a problem getting that info from other cruise lines.

Would appriciate the times and any other tidbits you might pick up on the way.

On our 5/22/04 sailing, according to the Captain's log:

5:48 AM End of sea voyage
6:00 AM Embarked the local pilot
7:20 AM Safely docked starboard side alongside

As I recall, we had a 9:00 AM shore excursion scheduled and were off the ship by 8:30 AM.
