Construction of the Disney Dream, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, began in March 2009 with the first steel cut at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Here's the ship's construction in 30 seconds as captured by a time-lapse camera. The ship celebrated her keel laying in August 2009 when the first section was lowered into the dry dock. The nearly finished vessel was floated out from dry dock in October 2010.
