The "Carnival Pride" cruise ship sounds its horn before shoving out of Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, on August 10, 2009. This is the third of three short blasts on the horn that signal the ship will go in reverse. The ship is a "Fun Ship" owned by Carnival Cruise Line, and this ship's port of origin was Baltimore, Maryland. It is a sister ship of the Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Miracle. Next to the Carnival ship is Princess Cruises' "Caribbean Princess", which I was on, and which originated in Brooklyn, NYC, New York. This was taken from the beach right outside the port. In fact, everybody had to be out of the water when the ship was departing.
