Queens of the harbour

LIKE ships that pass in the night, or at least in the gathering dusk, two giants of the waves had a reunion in Sydney Harbour today.

Cruise liner the Queen Elizabeth 2 made her way through the harbour for a brief reunion with her sister ship, the Queen Mary 2, the world's largest passenger cruise ship.

The QM2 docked at Garden Island early today and QE2 passed through Sydney Heads about 6pm (AEDT) and passed the more massive ship on its way to docking at Circular Quay....
