The FBI has concluded its onboard investigation into the apparent death of a South Jersey woman who fell overboard from a cruise ship, but the case remains open, a spokesman for the bureau said yesterday.
Mindy Jordan, 46, a graduate of Lenape High School who grew up in Mount Laurel, has been presumed lost at sea since Sunday night when she fell from the cruise ship Norwegian Dawn into the Atlantic Ocean about 45 miles from Atlantic City.
The incident occurred just a few hours after Jordan and her boyfriend, Jorge Caputo, boarded the Bermuda-bound vessel in New York City.
Agent Jim Margolin, spokesman for the FBI's New York City station, said FBI agents began investigating how Jordan fell overboard after the cruise liner docked in Bermuda Wednesday. The two-day investigation included witness interviews....Visit website
