Wonderful ship and the freestyle dining worked really well for my husband and I.  One thing we did not know is that from 6th March the American colleges have spring break and so we had 700 college students sharing the cruise with us!  They were not too rowdy but boy can they drink, and they took over two out of the 4 Jacuzzi's. We had another week doing the West caribbean and that week was also a spring break but this time for the school children!  So if you want to get away from children, think about checking when the spring break is before booking.

The thing that was really strange, is that, there are no bar prices listed anywhere. You can see a drinks menu but no prices, only for wine.  When I requested a bar price list. I was looked at as if I was mad. I had to actually ask the price of a drink.

We found the price of tours charged on the ship were the same as was being charged when you got off the ship and went to one of the many people on the dockside trying to sell tours. So that was really good to know.

The shows were excellent and the food very good indeed and the choice was excellent.

When we docked at Miami, we got a taxi to the airport which is a fixed price of $24 and there are loads of taxi', so it was easy to get one. At the airport, because we had an evening flight, we put our luggage in storage which was cheap and then got on a bus outside the airport and paid $2.35 a person to Miami Beach which took about 40 minutes and spent the day there. The stop you get off is the last stop and the same stop you get on to get back to the airport.  The cost is the same for the return journey. You must have the exact money as the ticket machine does not give change.

Overall we had a great two weeks aboard the Pearl and would go on it again. Oh, and the weather was just Awesome!!!!!
