OVERVIEW:

This was the BEST cruise my wife and I have taken so far!

We love Holland America Line because of fewer kids, 5 star food, service and ships.


EMBARKATION:
____________

Very fast. As long as you get to the pier before 9:30 a.m. or after 2 p.m., you will sail through. We got there about 9:30 and waited for 15 minutes as they opened up the embarkation stations. We were the first ones through. We then went upstairs and sat for about 10 minutes until they called our #1 number. Of course Suites, Priority Boarding went first, but after that we boarded.

The great thing about Holland America Line is that you can go straight to your cabin!


FOOD:

The food is 5 star all the way around. Can't beat it. You MUST go to the Pinnacle Grill. Great food and great service.


SERVICE:

Incredible service. The people are friendly and are second to none.


PORTS:

Our favorite was Aruba, but Grenada, Bonaire, St Barts, Barbados were nice also.


HALF MOON CAY (Private Island):

No wonder why it is the top rated private island by Porthole Magazine. Great island. We did have to take the Maasdam's smaller tenders over instead of the larger ones. The N. Amsterdam was in port with us and it make tendering slower as N. Amsterdam used the larger tenders!
