I didn't mean to submit my review yet. I totally enjoyed the three Alaska ports and Endocott Arms. The ship wasn't able to go into Tracey Ford because of fog that morning. Endocott was very beautiful and it took a similar amount of time to what was originally planned. The food in the dining room was very good. Service by the cabin stewart was above average. The buffet was unacceptable! Food was hardly available at the midnight buffet and Princess did many overweight passengers a favor but one should be forewarned about these cutbacks. The steam room was broken the whole trip which was unacceptable! The ship has been out of dry dock for over a month and it should be prepared for these things. The whirl pools were closed part of the trip too. When I complained they announced it was for safety reasons because the ship was moving too fast yet they let all these child go into the whirlpools at night unsupervised! The people on the ship were not as friendly as Caribbean princess and they didn't abide by the dress code on formal nights. My boyfriend was one of the few men with a tux on and none of the women looked sharp. Hardly no one drank on the cruise. It seemed like an AA cruise. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I went to the front desk and asked a easy question about our next port and a woman named Ana who should be fired didn't even know we were going there. She told me she was just hired! Doesn't Princess give employees a simple 101 class on travel. I'm not saying they need to be experts but come on. The ports of call made this an enjoyable vacation but I would recommend Princess with caution! The dining staff named Nadia asked me to give her a good review which I did not because she was tacky to ask. The servers really pushed the booze because of tips which I think should be more subdued. I liked the fact that this ship was very similar to the Caribbean Princess
