Comments:
Having not been on a Carnvial cruise for 8 years I was not sure what to expect especially after the last Carnival cruise we took was marginal at best. However, I want to say we had a GREAT time on the Triumph. It was me, my wife and 13 year old daughter. The food was very good and the service also impressive. The shows kept us entertained but the cruise director was the best one we've had out of all of the cruises we've ever been on. He was extremely funny and kept us laughing the whole time spent on the ship. We had a nice balconey room with plenty of storage space. The only negative I have, is the ship is cut-up quite a bit and it is hard to navigate on certian decks but there were plenty of maps and crew members to ask. Our ports of call were St. John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia. I was not to sure about going to Canada since I'm a warm weather person but my wife really wanted to do this itineriary. We quickly realized we made the right decision once we stepped off the ship in Canada. I loved these ports of call. I've heard some people comment there's nothing to do but we found more than enough to do and still wanting to do more before we had to leave and return to the ship. The people could not have been nicer and the cities themselves very clean. It was very refreshing not to be asked for money every time you turn around as in so many of the Caribbean ports. We definitely plan on returning to Canada in the future. Let me know if you have any questions. Scott
